1-4 (alt), 5-8, 13-25/Panzer Dragoon: HECTO Fansub
1-4, 9-12: Shenlon Anime (edit of HECTO's script)
VHS transfers of my set of this show, using HECTO's horrible TV versions for all the episodes except for 1-4 and 9-12, Shenlon's LaserDisc version for the missing eight episodes, as well as episodes 1-4 from HECTO as transferred by Land of Obscusion sourced from [here](https://archive.org/details/bt-x-fansub). All of my HECTO versions have all commercials intact from the original RSK broadcast. There's some audio balancing issues throughout due to inconsistent capture hardware, and volumes 5-7 had some issue with the mastering which broke my TBC, so the video is unfortunately kind of shaky on those, but the subtitles should still be visible, and that's what counts. Shenlon's LD versions do try their best to translate HECTO's nonsense into English, to varying degrees of success. The Panzer Dragoon OVA was included as a bonus at the end of Volume 7, and has been included as-is. Based on HECTO's previous track record though, I assume the translation is significantly worse than peachflavored's old translation, and the video sucks. These subs are terrible, but they're a fascinating piece of fansub history, and I think that they should be preserved. I haven't actually seen this show or these tapes in full, so if you find anything funny or interesting with them, please share.
I am currently looking to complete my Rurouni Kenshin fansub collection. I have 1-60 in crap quality, and 9-24 + 33-36 + 77-end in wonderful (for VHS bootleg) quality, but would love to complete the show, and upgrade some of my crap rips. If you know where I could find anything, even if it's like 240p RealMedia/DivX crap, please contact me via Discord/AniDB Forums/etc..
