## **Mobile Suit Z Gundam**  **Aired: 1985 [TV] 50 Episodes** ### **Story** *In Universal Century 0087, the conflict between the Titans and the AEUG grew ever more intense. The Titans oppressed Spacenoids in the name of maintaining order in the Earth Sphere, while the outnumbered AEUG resisted with guerrilla tactics. Learning that the Titans were building a base and developing mobile suits on Green Noa 2, a colony still under construction, the AEUG sent Quattro Bajeena to investigate. There, he discovered the Titans' base and a black Gundam.* *Meanwhile, in Green Noa 1, another colony in SIDE 7, a young man named Kamille Bidan was being interrogated following a run-in with the Titans. The interrogation was interrupted when a Gundam Mk-II crashed during a test flight. Driven by a personal grudge against his interrogator, Kamille stole the Gundam Mk-II and joined the AEUG. This incident ignited open warfare between the Titans and the AEUG. At the same time, Axis, the remnants of the Principality of Zeon, were confirmed to be active in the Asteroid Belt.
